2. Party Busses

If you're looking to get a large group of people together and have some fun out on America's roads, there are definitely worse choices you could make than renting a party bus. Party busses are meant for people to enjoy themselves - often plushly upholstered and equipped with features like full surround sound systems, full bars, and enough room for as many people as you need to entertain.

Depending on the area, you can even take party bus tours - many parts of northern California, for example, offer tours of their vineyards on these party busses - go out for several hours, taste wine, listen to good music, and have a good time with your friends. It's a party on wheels - thus the name.

Basically, you might want to consider hiring a party bus in any situation where you have to transport a large number of people and are concerned with giving them a good time while you do so. 3. Party Bus Rates

So how much is all this going to cost? An excellent question, especially if you or the people you work for are planning on footing the bill yourselves. Actually, party busses are not quite as expensive as you might think at first. Rates often range, depending on location and quality of the party busses involved, from between one and two hundred dollars an hour. You can also often get specific tours - like the wine tours in Northern California we mentioned earlier - that have flat rates for the entire time, which often brings the actual hourly cost down even more.

What if you're not working for some big company with money to spend? Does that mean you should forget the whole party bus idea right now? Not at all. Say you have twenty friends who want to go on a day's road trip, and do it in style. Are you really going to settle for something small like a caravan of SUVs? Consider the prices involved - if you can get a party bus for one hundred dollars, you'll only be paying five dollars per hour per person - thirty dollars each for a six-hour trip. Not bad at all, especially considering that this is far cheaper than most similar forms of transportation for that time period.

4. Types of Party Busses

Party busses aren't all the same - fortunately, for the sake of variety. There are plenty of party busses out there, all just waiting to give you or your friends a good time and get you to where you want to be with a minimum of hassle and a maximum of entertainment and ease. These busses are owned by plenty of different companies and even types of companies - there are even party bus companies owned by opponents of drunk driving, who run the busses to show that you can have a good time without breaking the law and endangering lives while you're doing it. Institutions like these lend a great deal of credibility to the party bus industry and show what's true about the industry in general - that beneath the veneer of fun and vicarious experience, bus drivers are dedicated to providing a safe, responsible environment to their passengers.

Party busses also go by a number of different names, for a number of variations on the classic party bus theme. A limousine bus, for example, combines the lush luxuriousness of a limousine with the size and transportation capacity of a bus. A limousine bus, or limo bus, uses a standard bus chassis with long leather-covered seats that run the length of the bus rather than the standard rows. Limo busses often feature things like great sound systems, built-in bars - for passengers and not drivers, of course - and all the other accoutrements and luxuries limousine connoisseurs have come to expect.
