It is also nice for people who are not able to walk any distance due to health problems. Airport car parking garages are sometimes large and spread out to accommodate the amount of cars that pass through the gates every day therefore, it is not uncommon for you to be some distance from the terminal.
When you use the airport shuttle service, you need to take all of your luggage along with you and remove every piece of luggage from the shuttle upon arrival at the terminal. If you were to forget something, you might have to leave without it, depending on the time you have left before boarding.

Airport car parking is available at all airports close to the terminal doors. It is still a bit of a walk, but you can find that many airports have some front parking places designated only for handicapped parking. You can drop your luggage at the terminal doors and then park your car if that makes it easier.
You can call the airport customer service desk to request a car park pass, which can reserve a handicapped parking place for you when you arrive. When you arrive, you enter the garage and follow the signs that take you to the level that the airport parking facilitator gives you as your assigned place.
You can also request a wheelchair if needed when you are setting up your parking place.
